Terms of Service

1. Service Description

UPSC AI provides an AI-powered platform to evaluate UPSC Mains answer sheets (GS Papers + Essay) using previous year questions since 2013. The service provides marks, feedback on content, structure, presentation, and value addition. Evaluations are generated by AI and are for practice/educational purposes only — they do not guarantee UPSC results.

2. Accounts & Authentication

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• You may sign in via Google OAuth. We collect only email, name, and profile picture (scopes: openid, email, profile) for authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
• You must provide accurate information and may not impersonate others or create multiple accounts to abuse free quotas.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload illegal, harmful, plagiarized, or infringing content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload our AI systems
• Share or resell evaluations to bypass paid plans
• Use the service to generate misinformation or cheat in formal examinations
• Abuse, harass, or interfere with other users

4. User Content

You retain ownership of answer sheets you upload. By uploading, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and analyze them solely to provide the evaluation service to you. We do not claim ownership of your answers and will not publish them without your consent (except when you explicitly use the Share feature for paid plans).

5. Plans, Payments & Refunds

• Free Plan: 5 lifetime evaluations, session-only downloads.
• Monthly (₹500): 120 evaluations/month, persistent storage, shareable links.
• Yearly (₹4,800): 1,440 evaluations/year, same benefits as Monthly + priority support.
• Payments are processed by a third-party provider. All fees are in INR and include applicable taxes.
• Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled from Settings. Unused evaluations do not roll over unless stated.
• Refunds: Monthly plans can be refunded within 7 days if fewer than 5 evaluations used. Yearly plans within 14 days under the same condition. Contact support@[yourdomain.com] to request.

7. Intellectual Property

The website design, branding, PYQ curation, and AI evaluation logic are owned by UPSC AI and protected by copyright. You may not copy or redistribute them without permission.

8. Privacy

Your privacy is important. Our collection and use of data — limited to email, name, profile picture via Google OAuth — is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. We do not share your Google data with third parties.

9. Termination

You may delete your account anytime from Settings or by emailing us — your data will be removed within 30 days. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, abuse the service, or fail to pay.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, UPSC AI shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or loss of data/profits, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 3 months.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in [Your City, e.g., New Delhi], India.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you via email or app notice for material changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
